Leadership Fayette
The next Leadership Fayette class is planned for September 2012. Currently, we are updating our contact information for alumni and are planning to create opportunities to reconnect. If you have participated in a Leadership Fayette class prior to 2010 and would like to be contacted, please send your current information to Info@FayetteChamber.org.
The Leadership Fayette program is designed to help develop and educate business and community leaders about important aspects of the Fayette community. The program runs from September through March each year, and provides participants with a broad awareness of Fayette County history, economic development efforts, and government and social services organizations.
One of the most meaningful aspects of the program is the opportunity to develop contacts and relationships with other leaders drawn from a diverse group of organizations and backgrounds. This interaction is promoted through team projects which are designed to benefit a variety of community non-profit organizations. The program typically includes sessions on judicial and law enforcement systems; local government; economic development; local business; emergency services; community services; and Fayette history. Class participation is limited to 30, and payment of a program fee is required.
