Training and educational programs

Interested in keeping up with the latest tools and tips to maximize your personal and business acumen?  Each month, we offer great speakers and business topics at our B2B luncheons.   Tips on marketing, public relations, business planning, finances, and social media are a few examples of recent topics.

If you’re interested in honing your networking skills, then join us for speed networking.  Skilled business networkers lead a lively session where you’ll not only learn how to really connect and have a chance to apply the techniques during each monthly session.  Check out the chamber event calendar to find out upcoming meeting details.

Online training is available through the SBA’s Small Business Training network or you can access daily quick tips through the PBS Small Business School.

SCORE (Service Corps of Retired Executives) counseling is now available at the chamber offices in downtown Fayetteville to provide one-on-one assistance to small business owners.  Schedule a meeting.

Also, the chamber works closely with the Small Business Development Center at Clayton State University.  They offer assistance for new and existing businesses including identifying sources of capital specialized research, marketing strategies, and business plan development.

Complimentary access to Atomic Training with over 60 tutorials and 100 minutes of targeted instruction on selected software programs is now available to our members.   More Atomic Training e-learning tutorials and member solution features are available at special chamber member only pricing.  Contact the chamber for how to access the training.

Business advocacy

Public policy and current issues can have a significant impact on businesses and the community’s quality of life.  The chamber’s Government Affairs Committee provides an excellent means for business leaders and members to learn about key issues and the potential impacts and have opportunities to meet our elected leaders.  It is also a great way to provide input for the chamber’s policy agenda and programs.
